Welcome

Hello and welcome, thank you for checking out my new blog. As you can see there isn't much here right now as I've just created this thing. I hope over the next several months to share my experiences as I begin my on the job training or "precepting" period of becoming a Paramedic. As I share these experiences I would appreciate and love to hear feedback from everyone who wishes to offer, just keep it respectful and mature that is all I ask. A little background about myself, I sort of fell into EMS. I guess thats a good way to put it. I went through my life wanting to be a cop and while keeping that in my sites I took an EMT class and it was just a natural fit. I found myself becoming a volunteer EMT for a rather large call volume local service, soon getting hired for a small commercial company in the "City". Soon I found myself as an Officer at the Volunteer EMS agency, providing minimal oversight in the field, and soon found myself in Paramedic class. Now a graduate, a CT Licensed Paramedic w/ Hartford Hospital Medical Control, I find myself ready to embark on one of the most exciting challenges I have faced in my life, working as a Paramedic.
